In 2009, Raveneau was able to work magic. As if we needed it, this is a bottle that serves as yet another reminder why Raveneau is one of the best. 

Raveneau produced a stunning collection of wines in 2009. As in 02 and 05, Raveneau managed to capitalize on the ripeness and concentration of the vintage while maintaining the nervy backbone of classic Chablis. 

Burghound's "more classic in style than many wines from the vintage" sums up Raveneau's 09 collection quite nicely. 

As always, when it comes to the holy trinity of grandeur, complexity and value, Montée de Tonnerre is the star of Raveneau's 2009 line-up. 

Montée de Tonnerre is a 1er Cru that can rival many Grand Crus. Stylistically, it's reminiscent of Les Clos - it's epic in scale, monumental in its architecture, and delivers power with a profound level of finesse. Raveneau being Raveneau, he's the benchmark for MdT. 

That's pretty much the story. The only other thing that needs to be said is that we only have a handful of the cases, so this is only being sent to people who have supported the Chablis program. Let us know your ideal order and we'll do our best.
