About This Wine
Chêne Bleu is a biodynamically farmed estate where grapes have been grown since the Middle Ages. It sits within the UNESCO-designated Mont Ventoux Biosphere Reserve. When Xavier and Nicole Rolet purchased the property in 1993, it had been abandoned for decades. They set out restoring the old buildings, including a priory from the 14th century, and the vines with the intention of producing world-class wines from their isolated location.
The rosé that they turn out is everything you could want. The care that goes into making it is obvious. It's also clear that it originates from a place perfectly suited to rosé production.
