About This Wine
Pais Salvaje is a wild wine made from Pais grapes. It was harvested from savage vines that grow widely and freely within the natural flor of Mingre, the home estate of Bouchon Family Wines, in the dry coastal region of the Maule Valley, Chile. The harvest was made with ladders up to fifteen feet. To express its wild origin, the wine was fermented with native yeast and is unfiltered. On the nose, Pais Salvaje gives aromas of wild flowers, rosehips, cherries, and wild strawberries. On the palate it is very juicy, fresh and light. An honest wine that revives the flavors of Chile's past.
