Notes on the wines:

2021 Peyrassol Cotes de Provence Cuvee des Commandeurs Rosé

The Peyrassol Cuvée des Commandeurs Rosé is a vibrant and fresh blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Rolle sourced mostly from the estate’s younger vines. Perfectly easy-going and delicious without being complicated.

2020 Nozay Sancerre

Cyril de Benoist, nephew of Domaine de la Romanée Conti’s Aubert de Villaine, produces a flinty, minerally, biodynamic Sancerre from a fifteen-hectare domaine in the northernmost extreme of the appellation.

2020 Enfield Wine Co. Chardonnay Citrine

Enfield is one of our favorite California wine producers.  John Lockwood and Amy Seese seek out small vineyards and independent growers with the goal of creating naturally-fermented, balanced wines.  Citrine is a blend of four different vineyards with an average vine age of almost 40 years, including one of the only own-rooted blocks of Chardonnay in California.

2018 Giordano, Luigi Barbaresco Cavanna

The style at Giordano is rugged, personality-filled, and very classic. They are soulful wines brimming with a slightly wild and totally captivating complexity. Expect a real deal traditional Barbaresco, where the grippy tannins are cushioned by the vintage's layer of pure and bright fruit making it accessible for drinking now.

2019 Newfound Wines Gravels California Red

Newfound is another California winemaker with deep respect for the land, vines and growers they work with.  The 2019 Gravels is a 50/50 blend of Grenache and Carignan, fermented separately with native yeasts. The wines are aged separately 14 months in 2000L foudres, then racked, blended and bottle unfined and unfiltered.

2017 Chateau Falfas Bordeaux Cotes de Bourg

Château Falfas, an estate dating back to the 14th century, was one of the first producers in Bordeaux to practice organic and biodynamic farming.  Owner Véronique Cochran’s philosophy is that the best wines are not made in the winery, but rather, grown in the vineyard.  The resulting wines are authentic, rich and generous.
