Baudry's style is beautifully detailed, vividly transparent, and refined. What we love about the Grézeaux bottling is its honesty, edgy minerality, and the combination of immediate textural appeal and the ability to age beautifully for decades.
Grézeaux comes from 50-60-year-old vines on gravel soils that sit over sand and limestone. The 2018 boasts an incredible length and mid-palate punch. There's an undeniable impression of completeness to it.
Its harmony and drive deeply impresses. Dark fruits mingle with earth, minerality, and spice. It is beautifully integrated and simply delicious.
The 2018 Grézeaux really highlights just how skillful the winemaking at Baudry is. The 2018 is so masterfully composed that it seems destined to be a legendary bottle.
