Under-the-Radar Lafarge:
2010 Lafarge Volnay Vendanges Sélectionnées

Lafarge is a very special producer for me. I love the entire line-up. With all that said, I have a soft spot for the VS. The wine offers such nuance, depth, and finesse for the price.

Mugneret-Gibourg:
From Bourgogne to Clos Vougeot

These are easy wines to become obsessed with. Across the range, the wines are texturally beguiling, transparent, and supremely elegant. Even their Bourgogne Rouge is painfully rare.

White Burgundy Dynamite:
2014 Coche-Dury Meursault

Coche-Dury's Meursault may very well be the greatest village wine on earth. There are Grand Crus that it puts to shame.

Punching Above Its Weight Class:
2015 & 2016 Bachelet Côte de Nuits-Villages

Bachelet’s top-to-bottom quality is staggering. You can taste at any level, from the Aligoté to his epic Charmes-Chambertin, and be thoroughly impressed.

Domaine Fourrier: 2008-2016

Jean-Marie Fourrier took over his family's domaine in 1994 after working under Henri Jayer. He wasted no time defining his unique style and catapulting his family's domaine into Burgundy's elite tier.

One of Burgundy's best village wines: Back-Vintage Edition:
2014 Mugneret-Gibourg Vosne-Romanée

It's easy to fall for Mugneret-Gibourg's Vosne. Few wines combine a seductive texture with an ultra-fine and elegant precision.

Red Burgundy 1979-2018:
Barthod, Chevillon, D'Angerville, Dujac, Lafarge & More

Red Burgundy 1993-2018:
Bachelet, D'Angerville, Dujac, Fourrier, Mugnier, Roumier, Rousseau, & More

I'm happy to offer a wide survey of our red Burgundy inventory stretching from Bourgogne to Grand Crus.

You'll find some of Burgundy's top talent, including still under-the-radar producers.

Back-Vintage Grand Cru - 0.23ha:
1996 Drouhin Bonnes-Mares

Drouhin's lineup is dizzying in its breadth. The Bonnes-Mares is one of the greatest, and with a 0.23ha parcel, one of the most elusive.

Rare Sighting:
1979 Mugneret-Gibourg Clos Vougeot

There was a time when we were able to offer Mugneret-Gibourg's wines frequently. Those days have ended. The wines have become painfully hard to locate in quantity. Since the 2005 vintage, Mugneret-Gibourg's wines have blown up.
