These are the only bottles from these vintages available in the country. There's no better way to underscore how rare it is to be able to offer Lafarge with age than this. The quantities are very modest and this is only going out to a select group of Lafarge fans.

I'm really happy to be able to offer these even if it's to a small circle of people.
I've loved Lafarge for as long as I've been drinking Burgundy, but recently my appreciation for the wines has really deepened. When you drink old bottles of Lafarge, it cements how profound, soulful and fine they are. They offer some of the most compelling and singular Burgundy experiences that I know.
Lafarge is all about subtle depth and beautifully intricate structures laced with minerality. In their youth, the wines can be somewhat reticent, but in time an amazing amount of perfume, delicacy and haunting complexity emerges.
Beaune-Grèves is easily one of our favorite 1er Crus of Beaune. Compared to the rest of Beaune, it offers a much greater level of finesse and an elegant thread of rocky minerality. Lafarge greatly accentuates these traits producing a Beaune-Grèves of gorgeous purity, mineral, fruit and overall perfume.
The vintages on offer allow you to see the heights that Lafarge can reach with his Beaune-Grèves. It's a pleasure to be able to offer them. Please be warned that we'll likely have to allocate.
