2007 Leroy RARITIES
Every Bottle Lowest Prices in the U.S.

Leroy and DRC represent the absolute pinnacle of Red Burgundy.

These are also the most collectible and sought after bottles of wine in the world.

Today the focus is on a RARE parcel of Leroy bottlings - each and every single bottle direct from the domaine and priced at up to 10% off the lowest prices in the U.S.

Obviously, quantities are extremely limited, so this offer goes out only to a select group of collectors.

As the Burghound reviews below will reflect, the 2007 collection at Leroy is simply phenomenal. At Leroy, nothing is left to chance and the heights they were able to reach in this vintage may very well surpass what they accomplished in 2006 or 2008. Of course, only time will tell.

In the interim, prices will only go up. We expect a rather quick sell-out so please give us your dream order as soon as you can and we will allocate as fairly as possible.

2007 Leroy

7 x Vosne-Romanée Genaivrieres

Pricing BEGINS at $300 and goes to $325
Burghound: "A very ripe and expressive nose that is classic Vosne features highly spiced aromas of violets, rose petal and black cherry nuanced with hints of earth leads to impressively concentrated and comparatively powerful flavors that possess a velvety texture as well as much better than average volume and ample finishing punch, all wrapped in a finale where the firm tannins are almost invisible due to all of the buffering sap."

4 x Volnay 1er Santenots-du-Millieu

Only other U.S. price is $500
Burghound: "In almost stark contrast to the Narbanton's somber and inexpressive nose, here the pure and classy earthy red pinot fruit and spice aromas explode from the glass to reveal rich, fresh and highly energetic medium plus weight flavors that are round, supple, succulent and naturally sweet while culminating in a finish of genuinely excellent length."

4 x Nuits-St-Georges 1er Vignerondes

Pricing goes from $420-$570
Burghound: "A discreet if not invisible touch of wood frames an elegant dark berry and underbrush infused nose where the latter aspect continues onto the rich, full and palate saturating flavors that are really quite refined and finally culminate in a driving finish that really coats the mouth. The dry extract gives a velvety quality to the mouth feel as it pushes the firm tannins to the background on the hugely long finish, indeed there is so much material that this could very well surprise to the upside."

7 x Savigny 1er Narbantons

Pricing BEGINS at $336 and goes to $400
Burghound: "Mild reduction knocks down the expressiveness of the nose though there is good freshness and vibrancy to the very rich, full and pungently earthy flavors that completely coat the mouth on the beguilingly textured, intense and palate staining finish that delivers huge length though there is a slight trace of warmth discernable right at the very end. Still, this is blessed with so much material that this should impress. Note that I strongly suggest decanting this for at least 30 minutes first if you elect to try a bottle in its youth."

12 x Pommard Les Vignots

Pricing BEGINS at $250 and goes to $400
Burghound: "This is quite ripe with plum and violet aromas nuanced by warm earth hints that can also be found on the very round and relatively approachable middle weight flavors that possess a velvety mouth feel on the lightly mineral suffused finish."

4 x Pommard Trois Follots

12 x Nuits-St-Georges Aux Lavieres

Pricing BEGINS at $250 and goes to $300
Burghound: "A more deeply pitched nose that is extremely pure with beautifully complex red pinot fruit trimmed in obvious notes of stone and underbrush that merge gracefully into detailed, racy and focused flavors that possess good energy and a slightly longer but also slightly edgy finish. While certainly very pretty, this will clearly benefit from a few years in the cellar to round out."

12 x Nuits-St-Georges Aux Allots

Pricing BEGINS at $250 and goes to $380
Burghound: "This too is quite ripe with an earthy and slightly more complex nose that features red and blue berry fruit that is liberally laced with a pungent earthiness that continues onto the round, supple and rather forward medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth with extract and I like the rich and pure finish that is underpinned by moderately firm tannins."

2 x Chambolle Fremieres

No compare at pricing available
Burghound: "A completely different and distinctly high-toned nose that is perhaps the ripest to this point offers up hints of coffee, raspberry and plum aromas that are ultra pure and refined while leading to mineral-suffused flavor that are lilting and silky as they glide across the palate into a precise and textured finish. While this may catch up with time in bottle, there isn't quite as much depth present though this is indisputably a success for a villages level wine."
