The 2012 Côte-Rôtie makes very clear why Jamet is the benchmark of the appellation.
This is a loose knit vintage of the wine and the full glory of Jamet's Côte-Rôtie is on display. There's an amazing cast of aromatics, beautiful finesse, and precision.
The 2012 is all about poise and clarity of expression. The aromatics simply soar. The notes of minerals, herbs, spice, and florality are presented with impressive detail. While the 2012 has many, many years ahead of it, the wine is starting to reveal the nuanced complexity that age will bring.
It's rare for us to find Jamet with age on it. As you can imagine, quantities are modest. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.
