Coche's Bourgogne Blanc profoundly transcends its humble category. It possesses an aristocratic flair, and a stunning combination of opulence and rigor. It's dramatic and densely mineral, possessing a class and intensity that's heartbreaking.
The Meursault is a powerhouse with complicated layers of fruit, minerals and flowers. This is a bottle that will seriously embarrass many 1er Cru Meursaults; it will also overwhelm many Grand Crus.
In the finely balanced and pure 2017 vintage, these editions of Bourgogne Blanc and Meursault are brillant. They deliver a crystal clear elegance that's simply jaw-dropping.
