For us, Séchet is one of the unheralded bottles of Dauvissat's lineup.
Séchet is for purists. It’s a bottling that boasts deep cut and a blatant expression of saline minerality. There’s a directness and elegance to Séchet that always impresses us.
The 2017 Séchet is a beautiful edition of the wine. The vintage in Chablis is seriously impressive. The wines deliver a richness and presence with an intense salty, Chablisienne minerality coursing through it. Dauvissat's Séchet dramatizes just how mineral and finessed the 2017s can be.
It's simply a dazzling and full-force expression of Chablis' unique minerality. The Séchet has the wine's classic razor's edge of textured minerality and then the vintage kicks up the punch and presence.
I've been chasing after the Séchet for the past couple of years and have never been able to find the wine in quantity. What's on offer today is very limited. Please give your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

Burghound: "An impressively broad-ranging nose offers up notes of mineral reduction, wet chalk, sea breeze, citrus and dried apple. There is good richness yet also good refinement to the generously proportioned flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the beautifully persistent finish. This too is very good and should age effortlessly."
