This is a testimony to Gonon's cult status and just how impressive the wine is.
It's a northern Rhône of riveting purity and utter deliciousness. The Les Iles Feray is a totally habit-forming bottle in how it combines fascination with outright drinkability.

Gonon’s signatures are a pure and clear profile with an intricate and detailed presentation of blackberries, olives, violets, spice, and forest floor notes wrapped around a smoke-infused minerality. This is authentic northern Rhône rendered with the utmost care.
The Les Iles Feray is mostly sourced from parcels lower on the slopes of their Saint Joseph vineyards, and a small portion of young vines further up the slopes. The wine is incredibly agile, pure, and offers up a complicated assortment of bright fruit, spice, floral notes, and minerality. The 2017 Les Iles Feray offers a little bit more punch and an extra dimension than other vintages.
