Mugneret-Gibourg's Chaignots may be the most elegant example of Nuits around. The 1er Cru Les Chaignots is situated on the northern side of Nuits, abutting Vosne-Romanée. The 2022 possesses the gorgeous weave of spicy, floral aromatics of Vosne, and the saturating, muscular palate of Nuits.
The Chambolle1er Cru Feusselottes is one of the most heartbreaking expressions of the village that we know. It's velvety, complexly spiced, and beautifully poised. The 2022 offers up a thrilling combination of deliciousness, tension, and detail. In short, it's a lovely example of a perennial favorite.
I'll wrap this up. Mugneret-Gibourg's wines are dear to most red Burgundy drinkers' hearts, and there's no reason to belabor this further.
