Taillepieds is one of d'Angerville's wines that people get obsessed with. This wine is all about raciness - it's full of stony minerality and has an intricate depth. The Taillepieds plot sits just above Champans and is steeply sloped with poor, rocky soil.
The 2022 Taillepieds delivers the site's signature minerality and cut in a bold fashion. There's a kinetic energy that's presented with a beautiful sophistication.
I'm a huge fan of d'Angerville's 2022s. I buy them at every opportunity. I'm excited to be able to offer the wine. As I said earlier, these should not be missed.
