The 2019 is a stunning example of the Barolo Cerretta. Like Galloni, I really like how well-proportioned and precise the wine is. It offers up explosive aromatics - bright cherry, plum, spice, cedar, and scorched earth.
Roberto Conterno has exacting standards and focuses on every little detail. The sum is an almost logic-defying profundity. The 2019 Cerretta is yet another reminder of how impressive the results are.
I've been waiting to have enough 2019 Barolo Cerretta to offer. It is simply a dynamite wine. Before closing, I should warn you that the parcel is very modest, and I expect it to sell out quickly.
