"In sum, this is one of Burgundy's greatest domaines and Christophe Roumier is one of its most intelligent and knowledgable wine-makers. The combination of the two produces magic." - Clive Coates
Roumier is simply one of the great producers in Burgundy.
The 2014s that Roumier turned out testify to the level that he works at. I love the 2014 Burgundies, but Roumier's are on a different level. To provide some context, Burghound says that Roumier's 2014s are nearly as good as the incredible 2015s.
While the 2015s will undoubtedly be powerful and awe-inspiring wines, the 2014s work on an entirely different register. They are cast in silk and intricate weaves that thrive on a delicate, understated elegance.
Les Cras is perched on a south-facing slope situated next to the Grand Cru Bonnes Mares. There's a radiant elegance and structured backbone to Cras that I really enjoy.
As Burghound writes, the 2014 is "textbook les Cras." The 2014 Burgundies have beautiful transparency and classic structures. And Roumier's Cras delivers the vintage at its best. The wine is beautifully delineated with bright and full red cherry fruit, finely crushed minerals and a gorgeous finish.
This is an absolutely stunning version of Roumier's Les Cras. As is always the case, there's not much to go around. Please give us your ideal order and we'll try our best.

2014 Roumier Chambolle 1er Cru Les Cras
Burghound: "Unusually, this is quite aromatically similar to the Combottes save for more floral nuances. There is more volume and certainly more punch to the overtly stony medium weight flavors that possess outstanding delineation before terminating in a youthfully austere, saline, focused and relatively powerful finish that offers impressive persistence. Textbook Les Cras."
