Müller's 2021s are absolutely brilliant. It's not surprising that anyone who has tasted the Kabinett has flipped out over it.
In any vintage, Müller's Kabinett has a magical ability to combine intensity and a seemingly miraculous weightlessness. They possess an incredible refinement and length.
The 2021 Kabinett takes these qualities to the extreme. Mosel Fine Wines capture the wine well when they write: "The aftertaste is to die for as it proves airy, elegant, precise, and incredibly persistent."
As quoted by Mosel Fine Wines, Egon Müller compares 2021 to the legendary 1971 vintage. For him, no other vintage hits a similar combination of verve and intensity of fruit. The 1971 Kabinett aged amazingly well. Bottles over thirty years old were breathtaking.
It's a safe bet that the 2021 will evolve gorgeously for decades. For Müller fans, we suggest going deep, especially at this sharp pricing.
