Today, I'm happy to offer a wide-ranging list of Allemand's Cornas.
Allemand is making some of the greatest wines in the entire northern Rhône. In recent years, the wines have become very difficult to find in quantity.
I've been slowly amassing Allemand for the past few months, and the wines on offer go back to the 2000 vintage. Both his ultra-focused and lifted Chaillots bottlings, and the deeper and more structured Reynard are featured.
The offer includes Allemand's stunning 2013s and 2016s. The 2006 Chaillots is likely the greatest value on the list. In 2006, Chaillots is crystal clear and finely balanced.
