We've been blown away by recent vintages. The wines combine honesty, polish, and intensity. Bessin-Tremblay is producing some of the best examples of Chablis that we've tasted.
Valmur is one of my favorite sites in Chablis. It's energetic, ruthlessly mineral, and incredibly finessed. Along with Raveneau and Moreau-Naudet, Bessin's example makes the greatness of the site very obvious.
Bessin-Tremblay's 2020 Valmur is more than a worthy successor to their brilliant 2019, which was a breakout vintage for this wine. It delivers incredible intensity and verve with outstanding precision.
This is a dynamite bottle of Grand Cru Chablis. Unfortunately, quantities are very limited. I suggest getting your orders in early.
