One of our most popular Burgundy offers was Hudelot-Noëllat's 2012 Bourgogne Rouge. The response was huge. When I mentioned to the staff that we were planning a Hudelot-Noëllat offering, they all took a deep breath and braced themselves for the onslaught.
Hudelot-Noëllat's Bourgogne Rouge is one of the great deals in everyday Burgundy. As Burghound's note above makes clear, this is a bottle that delivers a tremendous amount for the price tag.

For me, finding a Burgundy like Hudelot-Noëllat's Bourgogne Rouge is a godsend. I'm constantly looking for everyday Burgundy and very often struggle to find something that I can get behind at the sub-$30 price point.
I have particular fondness for the 2013. It delivers exactly what I'm looking for in a bottle at its level. Its freshness and purity make it eminently drinkable. The mingling of bright fruit, earth and minerals along with a beautiful texture endow it with more interest, sophistication and complexity than you typically encounter in a Bourgogne Rouge. I strongly suggest that you consider picking up a 6-pack.
In the know Burgundy fanatics have been deeply impressed by what's happening at Hudelot-Noëllat. Charles Van Canneyt arrived at the domaine and catapulted the estate to a whole new level of quality. They have become some of the most sought after Burgundies. The outrageous quality that you witness in the Bourgogne Rouge highlights just how conscientious the winemaking here is.
I'm always happy to offer wines like Hudelot-Noëllat Bourgogne Rouge. It's a joyous bottle that offers so much for the price and pairs with a wide range of food. I wish I could find Burgundies like this more often. I'm happy to have this in my arsenal.
