The Nebbiolo Starda is sourced from the Starda parcel of Barbaresco's Bricco di Neive cru. For an inexpensive wine, it's sourced from a pretty impressive site, and you sense that in the wine. It offers up layers of spice, herbs, floral notes, and citrus. The framing tannins give the wine a touch of seriousness while not sacrificing any of the deliciousness.

Sweet tobacco, cedar, blood orange, mint and dried red cherry are all beautifully lifted. The 2020 spent nine months in cask. It should be stellar with a few more months in bottle. It is already pretty delicious."
