Clape's 2001 Cornas is simply epic. It's a vintage that flirts with perfection. Nothing seems out of place and the wine is cast in terroir saturated clarity.
These are wines that age beautifully, gaining depth and refinement as time goes by. While showing very well today, the 2001 has a magical harmony that leads us to believe that it will evolve amazingly well over the decades to come.
