Mugneret-Gibourg has an amazing ability to capture the suave and exotically spiced nature of Vosne.

This helps to explain why Mugneret-Gibourg's Vosne bottlings have been a Crush favorite since day one. Crush's managing partner, Bobby Schagrin, even named the 2022 Vosne as his Wine of the Year in 2024.
Since the 2018 vintage, Mugneret-Gibourg started to bottle a second Vosne from the La Colombière lieu dit. This 0.89ha vineyard is home to old vines (somewhere around 80 years old).
When Burghound calls the 2022 La Colombière "A classic Vosne" and notes "The beautifully textured, seductive and velvety medium-bodied flavors", it gives you a good sense of how appealing the wine is. It is strikingly refined. Layers of spice, floral notes, and earthy undertones mingle. The beautifully suave texture of Mugneret-Gibourg is definitely on display.
The 2022 Mugneret-Gibourg wines are just stunning. They nailed the vintage in a way that few others did. The 2022 Vosne-Romanée "La Colombière" really highlights their wild success in this vintage.

The beautifully textured, seductive and velvety medium-bodied flavors possess good length on the robust and slightly warm finale. I wouldn't describe this as particularly vibrant but there's enough acid support to maintain the balance."
