Since the arrival of Charles Van Canneyt, the wines of Hudelot-Noëllat have reached a whole new level and collectors are chasing them down with abandon.
I've also have been really impressed and for me, all of this momentum really clicked in 2012. The whole line-up is really strong. Today, I'm happy to focus on their 2012 Bourgogne Rouge for $29.95 per bottle.
Hudelot-Noëllat's 2012 Bourgogne Rouge is delicious. I'm very happy to be able to offer a red Burgundy that delivers so much drinkability and quality for the price.
At the end of the day, this is exactly the sort of wine that I like to have around in quantity. It's fresh, delivers the right amount of complexity and is really friendly at the table with all sorts of foods.
This is wine that I have plenty of love for, but feel zero inclination to go on and on about. This is one of the wines that I like to drink and keep on hand. And that's plenty for me.
