In 2017, Boisson debuted their Meursault Criots bottling.
It was a stunning first vintage for the wine announcing yet another Boisson bottling that merited seeking out. The 2018 Criots further establishes the wine as a must-have for fans of Boisson.
Over the past decade, Boisson's wines have attracted a cult following. Simply put, these are beautiful white Burgundies: They are intensely mineral, nervy, and with perfectly judged richness.
We've been very impressed with Boisson's 2018s. The collection maintains an impressive amount of detail and fine-ness.
The 2018 Meursault Criots has an expansive power and explosive core of minerality. It's laser-focused and intensely concentrated. It flaunts incredible presence, length, class, and mineral cut.
Les Criots is on the northern edge of Meursault, bordering Les Santenots du Milieu in neighboring Volnay. In previous vintages, Les Criots was blended into Boisson's Meursault bottling. Boisson felt Les Criots started to assert such a distinctive character that it demanded to be bottled by itself.
I'm going to bring this to a close. The wines have a huge following. Despite our love of the wines, we've never been able to land Boisson in any quantity. This is a modest parcel that's only being sent to people who have supported our White Burgundy program. Please give us your ideal order and we'll try our best.
