Out of Dujac's entire lineup, the Charmes is among the most intriguing for me.

While always good, this bottle has really taken off in the past decade-plus.
These days, Dujac's Charmes shows a level of structure and complexity that puts it at the level of Bachelet's Charmes, which comes close to existing on its own plane.
Dujac's 2023s hit a brilliant equilibrium. The balance that the wines possess is astounding.
In 2023, Dujac's Charmes shows an incredible length and breeding. There's Gevrey's signature earthy minerality combined with dark fruits, spice, and floral notes. I love its precision and firm framing minerality. It comes across with aristocratic seriousness.
There's no doubt that this is one of the great examples of Charmes. I'm very happy to offer this small parcel.

Burghound: "Light reduction is enough to push the fruit to the background. The palate impression of the medium-bodied flavors though is fresh and bright with a gorgeous, indeed silky, mouthfeel that contrasts markedly with the robust and borderline rustic finale that is very firmly structured. This is promising but be prepared to be at least moderately patient."
