Despite his meteoric rise, Lachaux has pursued restless and bold innovations at the domaine. For example, he has stopped tilling the soils and shifted to aging wines in ceramic vessels.
The wines of Arnoux-Lachaux have a dramatic elegance and a suave flamboyance. They are almost painfully intense, incredibly pure, and utterly precise.
I jumped at this parcel of 2022 Vosne-Romanée that I can offer at very sharp pricing.
This marks the first vintage that Lachaux raised exclusively in ceramic vessels after years of experimentation. Having witnessed how successful Lachaux's radical innovations have been, I bought this parcel without hesitation.
I have a deep fondness for Arnoux-Lachaux's Vosne. It is always beautifully elegant with ultra-clear floral notes and exotic spices. Arnoux-Lachaux Vosne captures what's essential and utterly seductive about the appellation.
I bought every bottle of this that I could get, but this remains a very modest parcel.
