The wine is one of the grandest expressions of Cabernet Franc. It is an endlessly nuanced and seamlessly woven tapestry of herbs, spices, minerals, dark fruits, sandalwood and so much more.
This is very much the story of old vines, ones that are over hundred years old, that dig deep into limestone. The resulting wine is intense with an intricate delicacy and a shocking amount of lift.
The 2019 is a textbook example of Mémoires' ability to combine gripping presence with haunting depth and vibrancy. The total package is really compelling.
Please keep in mind that only 200 or so cases are produced in a typical vintage. There's never very much Mémoires to go around. We expect our small parcel to sell out quickly.
