This was a fun list of Champagne to put together.

It's full of favorites.

There are great examples of Cristal and Taittinger's Comtes de Champagne.

Included in the list below is 2022 Georges Laval's Blanc de Blancs Les Chênes. Les Chênes is a choice mid-slope vineyard that's incredibly chalky. What results is an extremely multidimensional Champagne of shocking depth and harmony.

I'm also happy to include Pierre Péters' 2018 Chétillons. In short, Le Mesnil is holy ground for Chardonnay, and Chétillons is one of the choicest parcels in all of Mesnil. Peters' version is the long-standing benchmark from this site, and the 2018 is superb.

I'll let you get to the list.
