I've been quietly holding on to this parcel of 2014 Cuvée Marcel Lapierre.
It's a really modest amount of wine and every time we've offered 2014 Beaujolais, they've sold out and sent us scrambling to find more.
The 2014 Beaujolais are really impressive. Taste a few of them and it's obvious. They have clarity, snap and punch. It's a vintage to stock up on.

Cuvée Marcel Lapierre is a selection of the oldest vines across Lapierre's vineyards. The bottling always delivers a sappy complexity that the regular bottling doesn't. What's truly notable is how it ratchets up concentration without betraying the deliciousness and agility that makes Lapierre so much fun to drink.
In 2014 Cuvée Marcel boasts a deep, seductive texture laced with crushed rock, spice and high-toned floral notes. All of this is delivered with lovely energy and purity.
