In any year, Jamet's Côte-Rôtie is one of the great wines of the northern Rhône. However, something special happens to Jamet in brisker and more classical vintages. Anyone fortunate enough to have tasted their 1991 Côte-Rôtie can attest to this.

Today, I'm happy to offer magnums of Jamet's 2021 Côte-Rôtie at very sharp pricing. It's a really impressive example of Jamet's success in high-acid vintages.
In the 2021 vintage, you have a Côte-Rôtie that's structured, mineral, and has a vibrant core of acidity. It hits a level of gracefulness and agility that's reminiscent of Burgundy.
The 2021 Côte-Rôtie shows the appellation in unmediated glory, boasting a poised and detailed expression of minerality, herbs, spice, savory elements, and florality. The aromatics simply soar.
You can find deeper and more powerful examples, but for us, Syrah is at its best when it's energetic, mineral, and finessed. That's what you'll find here. I expect it to age beautifully in magnums.
