Comtes de Champagne Magic - Three-Litter Edition:
2012 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Three-Liters

Posted by Ian McFadden

When Comtes de Champagne is on, it's one of the most intriguing and enjoyable Champagnes that I know.

There's magic to Comtes' radiance, class, and utterly appealing texture. The 2012 boasts these qualities.

The 2012 is supremely beautiful. There's a silkiness and finesse that's incredibly fascinating. All of this is backed by an exhilarating cut.

I'm happy to offer three-liters of the 2012 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne.

We offer Comtes de Champagne every vintage, but this is the first year that I've been able to offer three-liters.  Finding Tête de Cuvée champagne in three-liter format is difficult and often the upcharge is significant.  I'm happy to say that this parcel is well-priced.

Along with Krug's Clos de Mesnil, Dom Ruinart, Salon, and Selosse, Comtes de Champagne is the quintessential Blanc de Blancs.

Comtes de Champagne is Taittinger's prestige cuvée, first released in 1952 and sourced from some of the Côte des Blancs' top Grand Crus (Avize, Le Mesnil, and Oger along with a little Chouilly and Cramant).

The wine can show its share of richness, but its hallmark is one of elegance and impeccable class. The 2012 takes all of these qualities and weaves them together into an irresistible Champagne of the highest pedigree.

We love Comtes de Champagne for its consistency and its breeding. The 2012 is a brilliant example of the wine. I'm happy to offer three-liters of the wine at sharp pricing.
