"The Raveneau Butteaux is consistently the reference standard for the vineyard and it's likely to be so again in 2023." -Burghound
It's been some time since I've been able to offer Butteaux on its own.

I wish it was different. Butteaux has become one of my favorites from Raveneau.
In Raveneau's hands, the site becomes a gorgeous weave of chiseled minerality, stone fruits, and citrus. Above all else, Butteaux is about being linear and saline. It's a high-tension Chablis.
That is why I can't get enough of Butteaux. The elegance, minerality, and energy are beautiful. Among Raveneau's 1er Crus, it's the perfect counterpoint to the power and richness of Montée de Tonnere.
The 2023 is a riveting example of Butteaux. It's powerful and soaring with freshness and plenty of Chablisienne minerality. The wine's intensity and kinetic, delineated saline quality are really impressive.
Most of you are sadly aware of the deal with Raveneau. There's never enough to go around. As usual, I'll ask you to give us your ideal order, and we will do our best.
