Crystalline Purity In Champagne:
Noel Bazin Rosé Champagne "La Pimpante"

Posted by Joe Salamone

This tiny family domain farms only three hectares. Yet, the wines they make have made a significant impact.

In December 2025, for example, Bazin's brilliant Blanc de Blancs "l'Unanimé" beat out a number of other Champagne standard-bearers, including the ubiquitous yellow label, as reported in The Wall Street Journal.

If such tastings hardly present any objective truths, the more meaningful reality is that this wine has been one of our most popular Champagnes for the past five years. It is an honest grower Champagne... and it sells for $55.95.

This is one of the unique estates in Champagne that combines honest, artisanal, small-family farming with incredible value.

Today, we present one of our favorite Bazin wines, as well as one of the rarest: the linear and crystalline Rosé Champagne "La Pimpante."

One parcel, available now for $63.95. The discount compared with many Champagnes of similar quality is significant.

But try it for yourself.

Bazin's Rosé is primarily composed of Chardonnay from the Grand Cru village of Viller-Marmery in the Montagne de Reims. This gives the wine its inherent brightness, swiftness, and lift.

A kiss of Pinot Noir, only around 10%, gives the wine its perfume of wild strawberries and other red berry fruits.

Yet there is another level: The base wine, blended from previous vintages as well as a continuous cuvée, adds complexity, delicate herbal touches, brioche, and mineral.

This edition of Bazin's rosé is, for sure, the freshest, most finessed, and focused we've ever had. It is energetic, nimble, delicious, and refined.

It won't be in stock forever. We suggest that you get your orders in early.
