There's no doubt that Gonon is blowing up. When you combine that with the low yields for 2013, you get a sense of how limited these magnums are. There's only one other listing for them in the country.

There's no doubt that Pierre and Jean Gonon are turning out the greatest expressions of Saint-Joseph available. The style is soulful, delicate and beautifully precise. There's an unmistakable elegance to Gonon. I'm continually amazed with what they're able to achieve on these steep granite slopes.
Their 2013 is a gorgeous example of Gonon. There's great lift and floral aromatics that meld with the complexity and forthright character that we've come to expect from Gonon. The 2013 is a vibrant and amazingly clear version of the wine.
