I'm happy to offer this parcel of 2013 Beaune 1er Cru Pertuisots.
It's rare that I'm able to offer back-vintage red Burgundy at an affordable price, but that's only part of the story.

Beaune 1er Cru Pertuisots is one of my favorite wines from Des Croix, and I'm very fond of the 2013 vintage.
It all adds up to a deal that shouldn't be missed.
David Croix is one of Burgundy's most talented winemakers. This is the address if you want to witness the grace and understatement of Beaune.
What I like most about the Pertuisots is how it strikes just the right balance between structure and a lifted, bright joyfulness.
These qualities are accentuated in the 2013 vintage. I'm a fan of the 2013 red Burgundies. A large tasting of the 2013s really cemented my high opinion of the year. The wines have a balance and a radiant quality that I love.
The 2013 Pertuisots blends a spicy, muscular core with floral top notes and an intense mineral streak. There's real punch to the wine, but also a sleek detail that's lovely.
I'm happy to be able to offer this. I really liked the 2013 Pertuisots since its release, and it's almost unheard of that I get to offer the wine over a decade later.

Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate (2014): "David cropped the 2013 Beaune Pertuisots at 7hl/ha because of hail (he just raised his hands and sighed when I inquired what percentage that represented.) Still, what survived offers quite a precocious bouquet with vibrant strawberry, maraschino cherry and orange sorbet scents that leap from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine level of acidity, a little broody at the moment but there is good weight on the finish. This could turn out to be one of the domaine's best 2013s."
