Dujac Rarity
2012 Domaine Dujac Bourgogne Blanc

Dujac's whites have become an obsession of mine.

Today, I'm happy to offer Dujac's very rare 2012 Bourgogne Blanc. These are the only bottles in the country and you'd be hard pressed to find them anywhere in the world.

Dujac's whites have been one of my greatest surprises of 2015.

Their whites had fallen off my radar. They shouldn't have. Dujac hardly needs an introduction. This is one of the greatest domaines in all of Burgundy.

Dujac's signature is intensity and refinement. They seem to hit all the senses in a nearly overwhelming and thoroughly compelling fashion.

While Dujac's reds get most of the attention, their whites have the same saturating, rigorous quality. Even at the Bourgogne level, you get the bold force combined with poise and finesse.

From the 2012, expect a sappiness and a punchy mid-palate that melds beautifully with a stony mineral core. The current of citrus fruits adds an invigorating, dynamic element. It finishes with a beautiful sense of levity.

Tasting Dujac's Bourgogne Blanc drives home the high level of winemaking here. Few Burgundy producers can make both reds and whites that are very compelling. And few Bourgogne Blancs deliver such impressive drinking.
