We are big fans of Bachelet's 2022s. They have plenty of depth while being bright, expressive, and joyful. We think that Burghound is spot on when he writes: "If you can find the Bachelet '22s, don't hesitate."
The 2023 Bourgogne Rouge is a knock-out. Even for Bachelet, it boasts an unusual level of depth and balance. There are red and black fruits, earthy notes, and gorgeous tension. A lacy texture perfectly balances its sparklingly clear verve.
In any vintage, Bachelet's Bourgogne Rouge punches well above its weight class. The 2022 shouldn't be missed.
