The 2014 white Burgundy vintage is easily one of my favorites of the past couple of decades. The wines have such clarity and punch that when you taste them, it's obvious that 2014 is an important vintage. The wines are the total package of vibrancy, concentration, and refined harmony.
Pierre-Yves Colin captures Chassagne with an exhilarating masterful touch. There may be no one in the village making more compelling wines. The 2014 vintage marked the debut of Clement et Emma and today it serves as a monument to what this choice parcel of the Morgeot 1er Cru is capable of.
Colin-Morey's hallmark is combining intensity with a precise, crystalline profile. They are some of the purest expressions of Chardonnay you'll taste.
The 2014 Clement et Emma takes these qualities to the extreme. Expect all of the soaring brilliance that you've come to expect from PYCM along with an aristocratic length and grand composition. It explodes with citrus, stone fruits, spice, and minerality. The total package is simply beautiful.
