Jamet’s Côte-Rôtie hits a level of gracefulness and agility that’s reminiscent of Burgundy. This is Côte-Rôtie in full glory, flaunting a poise and detailed expression of minerals, herbs, spice, savory elements and florality. The aromatics simply soar.

The 2015 vintage in the Northern Rhône is being hunted down in ways that we haven't seen since 2010. Many seasoned tasters have put 2015 among the most exciting vintages in the past couple decades. Jancis Robinson has written, "Grab northern Rhône 2015 reds with both hands.” Given the demand for the 2015, especially Jamet's wines, this is something that I could only offer over a holiday weekend.

In vintages like 2015, Jamet's Côte-Rôtie is epic and one for the ages. The wines perform extraordinarily well in warm vintages. There's an extra dimension to the wines and a glossy, mineral-stained presence.

Jamet is one of the pillars of our Northern Rhône program. The 2015 Côte-Rôtie promises to be a monument to this long-standing benchmark. Needless to say, we don't expect this modest parcel to last very long.
