The Drouhin family has farmed this prestigious 2.06-hectare vineyard since 1947, though it has belonged since 1363 to one of the oldest aristocratic families in France, from whom it takes its name.
If Montrachet is known for a coating lavishness, Marquis de Laguiche carries this grandeur with an uncommon energetic mineral streak. Montrachet doesn't get any more graceful or finessed than Drouhin's Marquis de Laguiche.
