If Nuits St. Georges had a Grand Cru, it would be Les St. Georges. It's the most complete, complex, and aristocratic of the Nuits 1er Crus.
Chevillon is the king of Les St. Georges. His parcel is only 0.6ha. You get the picture.
I've always loved Chevillon's 2013. This is a remarkably strong vintage for Chevillon, and every wine is an archetypal example of its site.
The Les St-Georges is deeply etched with thundering length and complexity. There's serious intensity delivered with poise and clarity. It has aged beautifully on both its intensity and its balance.
I wish that I had more to offer. I've had so many absolutely stunning bottles of old Les St. Georges that it's become an essential part of my cellar. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.
