Grand Cru Trifecta: 2007 Roty Grand Cru: Charmes, Griotte & Mazy

Grand Cru Trifecta
2007 Roty Grand Cru:
Mazy-Chambertin,
Charmes-Chambertin
& Griottes-Chambertin

Today, we present a rarity: a trio of Grand Crus, drinking well and clocking in under $200.

The only catch is that quantities are very small and this will likely sell out quickly.

Not to fan the fire any further, we'll keep this short...

Roty is one of the grand names of Gevrey. Along with Bachelet, he makes the benchmark Charmes-Chambertin; along with Fourrier, Roty looms large over Griottes-Chambertin and takes Mazy-Chambertin's famous wildness and intense iron minerality and endows it with an unusual power and refinement.

All three Grand Crus are, by a good margin, the lowest prices around.

We, and many others, continue to grow fonder of the 2007 Burgundy vintage. The wines are so vivid and have remained open since release.

For Roty, in particular, 07 gave their powerful, deeply spiced style a lovely sense of lift and elegance. This is particularly pronounced in the Griottes, but even the notoriously sauvage Mazis boasts this characteristic.

As we mentioned, quantities are very limited. We'll likely have to allocate. Please give us your ideal order and we'll try our best.
