Here Today, Gone Tomorrow Revisited:
2017 Pierre Boisson Bourgogne Blanc

Posted by Ian McFadden

Boisson makes cult white Burgundies and in any vintage, the Bourgogne is dynamite.

With that said, the 2017 is special. It has jaw-dropping purity, harmony, and concentration. Few white Burgundies deliver so much for the price point.

I'm very happy to offer Pierre Boisson's Bourgogne Blanc for $41.95 per bottle.

The wines of the Boisson family are some of my favorite white Burgundies. Their wines are intensely mineral, nervy, and possess a perfectly judged richness. The Bourgogne is a very compelling example of just how careful the winemaking is.

The vines for the Bourgogne Blanc are in Meursault, and the wine carries some of the appellation's presence and nutty richness. We love the wine's verve, deeply etched refinement, and slow-building complexity. The length, refinement, and mineral cut of the 2017 is compelling.

In top vintages, like 2017, our advice is always to stock up on Boisson's Bourgogne Blanc. I should warn you that this wine has a huge fan club, and like our offer in February, we expect this small parcel to disappear quickly.
