The collection represents a high water mark for this great domaine. It is certainly the best wines we've tasted since their brilliant 2017s.
Moreau-Naudet is producing some of the most exciting wines coming out of Chablis. The 2024 Forêts drives home the profound level at which they are working.
The signature here is a rare and almost magical balance between density and weightlessness. The wines are beautifully transparent, sensuously textured, and zippy. They are hard to deny.
The 2024 Forêts takes this harmony and fine calibration to the extreme. It's a saturating wine with serious precision. You get tremendous depth married to a jagged saline minerality with citrus and floral-inflected high notes.
We were not prepared for the blazing greatness of the 2024 Moreau-Naudet collection. Given how much we love these wines, that's saying a lot. I'm very happy to have an opportunity to offer the Forêts, one of the highlights of the collection.
