We've been ready a long time for a vintage of Foillard's Fleurie like 2021.
It's a nimble and energetic vintage for Beaujolais. The 2021s very much feel like a throw-back vintage. Foillard wines in this year are really captivating.

Foillard's Fleurie is one of the standouts of the collection. He simply hit the bullseye in this vintage.
His Fleurie is exceedingly lithe and super-fine in its texture, a delicacy that this Cru is renowned for. Few wines exemplify Fleurie as well with its silken plum fruits and charming elegance, revealing perfumed aromatics of strawberry and plums, mingling with a clear soil expression and minerality.
We're big fans of Foillard's 2021s. They are classical examples with dazzling purity. We bought every bottle that we could, but it's a modest parcel. We're only sending this to a small group of Beaujolais buyers. Still, a sellout is likely.
