Across the board, they have show-stopping elegance, real impact, complexity, serious cut, and structure. The strength of the vintage elevated Leflaive's Bourgogne and Puligny villages to a place that we've rarely seen before.
Offering these two wines felt essential. It's rare that you encounter this amount of punch, refinement, and detailed minerality at this level.
I'm a huge fan of Leflaive's Bourgogne. It's a wine that I simply love to drink. Like Roulot's Bourgogne Blanc, Leflaive's boasts so much class and completeness that it transcends the humble category. The 2024 has a brilliant tension and incredible precision. I'm really impressed by its brightness and agility.
The Puligny takes these qualities and adds even more finesse. There's both cut and silky texture. It delivers complicated shavings of stone fruits, citrus, and stony minerality. Burghound calls it "One to buy."
This is a really dazzling duo of wines. I wish that I had more to offer, but I'm very excited to offer these. Please get your order in early.
