"If you aren't familiar with the wines, do yourself a favor and find a few bottles to try - you'll thank me." Part Two:
2024 Tribut Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy

Posted by Ian McFadden

Last week, we offered Tribut's 2024 Chablis AC. Today, we're happy to offer the 1er Cru Beauroy.

I'm very excited about this follow-up. Tribut's wines are some of the most captivating examples of classic Chablis.

In the 2024 vintage, this classicism is on bold display. This is a really exciting vintage at Tribut. It's as old-school a vintage as we've seen in quite some time. The vintage turned out wines that are intense and emphatically mineral.

I always like Beauroy for how its richness and presence are backed by an intense saline minerality. There's a generosity, but also a tactile and tension-filled spine that animates the wine. The refinement is impressive.

In 2024, Beauroy has a blazing mineral finesse. It has power and presence with an intense salty, Chablisienne minerality coursing through it. There's a beautiful refinement and focus to the wine. The total package is very compelling.

Tribut's Chablis are the genuine article. Any time I see Tribut, I buy it. We are in complete agreement with Burghound when he writes: "Moreover, if you aren't familiar with the wines, do yourself a favor and find a few bottles to try - you'll thank me. I always make it a point to buy at least some bottles every vintage; that's just how consistent the quality is." In 2024, we suggest that you go deep on Beauroy. It's magical.

Burghound: "Cool and airy yet vaguely exotic aromas include those of white peach, poached pear, lemon confit and a touch of tidal pool character. The equally delicious and fleshy, even seductive, medium weight flavors possess solid verve that carries over to the balanced, long and ever-so-lightly austere finale. This too has the stuffing to repay 5 to 8 years of keeping."
