In any vintage, Clos des Bouchères is a thrilling wine that combines explosive power with a cool precision and intricate delicacy. The wine always amazes with how it combines saturating minerality with a dazzling gracefulness. It has a tactile saline impression with beautiful delineation and incredible length.
Regarding the 2022, Burghound writes "if you're someone who enjoys finesse, look no further as this is quite fine." We couldn't agree more. Roulot seems to have teased out every drop of finesse from the site. The 2022 Bouchères amazes in how it combines saturating minerality with a dazzling gracefulness. It's absolutely riveting.
I'll wrap this up. Roulot is one of the masters of white Burgundy, and the 2022 Clos des Bouchères shows him at the top of his game.
