2020 Paul Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos St. Jean

Thierry Pillot has emerged as one of Burgundy's most talented white Burgundy producers.

The wines possess unmatched purity and crystalline character that sets them apart.

The 2020 1er Cru Clos St. Jean is a jaw-droppingly good vintage of the wine. Burghound wisely points out that the wine is "impeccably well-balanced." It's really difficult not to be wowed by how well composed the wine is and its finely tuned architecture.
